On the road again...

Training is done... our brains are overflowing!  Thelma and Louise (that's what they are calling me and Lezlie now) had a GREAT time and really learned a lot about Epic software.  Lezlie is driving her new Chevy Equinox!  Here's the view:
Ha ha... just kidding... here's the view out my window... it's really pretty driving through northern Illinois...
It's very windy... we are just taking our time and enjoying our visit.

Bye!

Cow Tipping?

Was it the wind?  Or cow tipping on the Epic grounds?

Yep, the Epic cow was tipped over today...  it was SO windy today... and rainy... and cold.  Tomorrow's weather should be better.

Erin joined us in Wisconsin today... she used to be on the Cadence team and now she's switching to Hospital Billing.  While I'm sad not to have her on our team, she is the reason I have a job!  Here we are at lunch...

And here's our Epic support person, Chad, with Erin:

Enjoyed more of the Epic art today... took my picture with the Blues Brothers...
And tried on a Wisconsin Cheese Head for fun...
It's not all fun and games, though!  We are taking our Cadence class very seriously and learning SO much!  Our Epic trainer is Carissa and she is awesome...
We went for a great dinner in a wonderful area tonight... They had a pumpkin tree in the street...
It's the end of another wonderful day in Wisconsin.  Life is good!

Good night,

First Day of Epic Training!

Say Cheese!  Today is my first day as a Cadence Application Coordinator with the Sisters of Mercy!  I am in Wisconsin at Epic's Intergalactic Headquarters.  Here I am by the Epic cow:

Lezlie is here with me... here we are:
We are sitting by one of the MANY fireplaces!  And, by some of the artwork... I love the artwork at Epic.  My favorite is titled "Multiple Personalities"... here it is:

And, I really love the "Butler" who stands outside one of the training rooms:

There's a wonderful place for a campfire outside... notice the cow in the background... I've added a close up of it...
Here's what a piece of the facility looks like:

And here's the view from our training room:

After class we went to dinner at "The Great Dane" and tried Wisconsin Cheese Curds.  They were VERY delicious and the restaurant was great... atmosphere included!  It was a brewery, too!

"The Great Dane" is downtown, so we got to see the State Capitol Building... it's very beautiful...
So, that was my day... what fun!  My training class was GREAT... our instructor is EXCELLENT... and Madison is BEAUTIFUL!  Thank goodness it's not too cold... not yet, anyway!  They are expecting bad weather to move in tomorrow...
